Baidehi Mittra; Owner and Manager

St. Phillips nursery was established over 57 years ago when the hall was built over an old Orchard. Baidehi Mittra initially worked at the nursery as an assistant childcare practitioner and then moved to her current position as manager of the nursery.
Our nursery manager has a distinct and well-defined vision for the nursery's educational programme. She effectively utilises her broad experience. She considers the methods and techniques learned from classes on effective communication, physical development, and healthy lives, which have a positive impact on the facility.
We’ve worked hard to establish a bright, stimulating, and safe environment along with friendly, caring, and experienced staff. With a capacity of space for up to 30 children, this is managed by six qualified members of staff. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage to plan and deliver a broad and varied curriculum for the children. We believe in letting children develop and progress through play. Whilst running St. Phillips Nursery with a parent’s perspective in mind.
We’ve achieved good Ofsted reports and industry awards and accreditations. We currently hold the BRONZE AWARD for the Mayor’s Healthy Early Years Project.
St. Phillips Nursery will provide your child with the best early years' experience possible, and we are convinced that you will find it the ideal option for your day-care needs. We are privately owned community-based preschool that is dedicated to teaching children through play. Every member of our team is a local resident, and most of them used to be parents of students.
If you have any questions, we have a dedicated Parent Experience Team who are here to help you every step of the way. They can be contacted Monday to Friday from 9am-3pm on 07423067918/07958512248 or by emailing neela.b42@hotmail.co.uk.
