The outside play space  at St. Phillips Nursery is fully utilised with areas for sand/ water,  trikes and cars, tents  and various forms of soft play.  Our intensions are to foster teamwork and encourage collaborative play. 

Playing together, breathing in the fresh air, and getting some exercise while spending time outside with other children their own age can be beneficial for our little learners. 

Our programme includes a lot of outdoor learning.  With the right clothing, there is no such thing as terrible weather, allowing kids play outside regardless of the conditions. We encourage learning outside where it will be noisier and messier but equally challenging physically and cognitively.

At St. Phillips Nursery, we take pride in our holistic approach to education and acknowledge that children frequently learn about many different subjects while engaging in a single activity.
